Nikki Schuster - confidentiality in counselling and psychotherapy

Confidentiality in psychotherapy and counselling

The entire process of counselling is based on respect and developing a trust that builds between the client and their counsellor / psychotherapist. You have to be confident that what you bring to counselling will be treated sensitively and received in an accepting and non-judgmental spirit. All that is shared in the privacy of the counselling relationship remains confidential.

Confidentiality is something we will talk about in more detail when we meet.
